@TaraMartinEDU@burgessdave I teach 5th grade in Minnesota (5th graders rule!) and I’m looking forward to winter!❄️ The short days and chilly temps bring stews, soups and chili! Also ice fishing season is WONDERFUL!
🎪 We're going to the Fair! We'll be at the Great Minnesota Get-together Sept. 3 to promote Catholic schools! Visit us under the @MPR tent to say hello and get your Catholic school swag. Also, listen for our sponsorship messages on @MPRnews. #CountOnCatholicSchools#mnstatefair
@MrBillingsclass@mrmatera Answer 2: A room tour that ends with a simple Google form to let me know their favorite part of our space (this doubles as a means to get logged in for the first time).
@MrBillingsclass@mrmatera For my 5th graders a rock, paper, scissors tournament (with bracket) is on my day 1 list. Also a “bucket list” activity with coloring - I flutter from group to group. LOTS of music.
Assembly schedules. A bee in my room. Teaching remotely for several months. A challenging email. Fire drills. Masks for a whole year. A failed joke. No coffee. STILL a teacher’s best is good enough. May your coffee be hot and your class be smiling!
@TaraMartinEDU “Having grown up in the south, I know how to hug.” What a great story about “Sue.” I’m re-reading Be Real before the school year starts. It’s a great prepper upper!
