The Conservatives misled voters with their spurious promise of a legal challenge. This was never a realistic prospect, and they knew it.

Residents have been clear: tackle fly-tipping, get dumped bikes off pavements, make streets feel safer.

And we’ve been working hard: 200 CCTV cameras are back online, 80 arrests have been made, 1,000+ fines issued for dockless bikes. Plenty still to do.

The Conservatives planned to build *zero affordable homes* on Balmoral. That’s not good enough when 1,000s of residents are waiting for an affordable home.

Today I spoke at the public hearing at City Hall to urge Deputy Mayor @JulesPipe not to grant planning permission for the latest proposal for student accomodation at the Travis Perkins site. I was there to stand up for local residents who overwhelmingly opposed the plans 1/2

I’m so proud of how our Labour administration of @CityWestminster has opened up NCIL funds (a tax paid by developers) to schools and local charities to apply for capital projects. Very glad to see funding go to St George’s school to replace the sports hall flooring.
