🚨In their first U-turn, Westminster Conservatives have abandoned their promised court challenge just two weeks after taking office🚨
The Conservatives misled voters with their spurious promise of a legal challenge. This was never a realistic prospect, and they knew it.
🌹I’m honoured to have been elected by my colleagues as Leader of the Opposition at Westminster City Council, representing Westminster Labour alongside our brilliant team of councillors.

Residents have been clear: tackle fly-tipping, get dumped bikes off pavements, make streets feel safer.
And we’ve been working hard: 200 CCTV cameras are back online, 80 arrests have been made, 1,000+ fines issued for dockless bikes. Plenty still to do.

It's good to see @MPSWestminster getting a grip on mobile phone theft. Smart move to start using drones and e-bikes to catch the bad guys. https://t.co/6Eb3DVXfj4
Voting has begun! 🗳️
I’m voting for the fantastic Labour team @Sarahassan_lv, @ShadHoshyar and @MSchellingerLV in Little Venice 🌹🙌🏻
‼️Use all three votes for Labour. Splitting your vote risks a Conservative win. Do not take that risk.

Westminster Labour out today in force in #LittleVenice with #May7 election candidates with the message that only we can deliver investments in community spaces, green policies, climate action, improved public realm, more housing, clean streets and community safety.❤️🌹
Delighted to see that the new beds by #LittleVenice Sports Centre and the King Solomon Y/Y school have been planted. This area was neglected but after a long campaign it’s had some TLC and is now looking fabulous!
Ramadan Mubarak to everyone observing in Little Venice and Westminster. Wishing you a peaceful and blessed month.

@wminsterlabour is building 💪🏻
The Conservatives planned to build *zero affordable homes* on Balmoral. That’s not good enough when 1,000s of residents are waiting for an affordable home.
Labour will deliver 10 units for social rent here, including 8 4-bed family homes 🏡🌹
After a long campaign, the area outside of the Little Venice Sports Centre @ActiveWCC is now looking fab✨, with new wooden blocks replacing those which broke or fell off. Grateful to all those involved who made it happen @CityWestminster@Caraquest!🙏
Great carol performances from all three #LittleVenice schools and a wonderful afternoon all round at the Christmas light switch on ceremony by Warwick Avenue station yesterday. Thank you to our deputy Lord Mayor Cllr Patricia McAllister for joining us 🌲❤️ ✨
Very glad that at @CityWestminster we have been able to increase the investment for the local community champions programs that do so much to engage residents and improve health and wellbeing https://t.co/MBy7XwVspz
Today I spoke at the public hearing at City Hall to urge Deputy Mayor @JulesPipe not to grant planning permission for the latest proposal for student accomodation at the Travis Perkins site. I was there to stand up for local residents who overwhelmingly opposed the plans 1/2
I’m so proud of how our Labour administration of @CityWestminster has opened up NCIL funds (a tax paid by developers) to schools and local charities to apply for capital projects. Very glad to see funding go to St George’s school to replace the sports hall flooring.
