Recently picked up approx 2000 floppies and cases (5.25” and 3.5”). 4 moving boxes worth. I definitely don’t need all of these and will hand out to the local retro community. #retrocomputing

@lazygamereviews Nice. I lucked into finding one in a box of old ISA cards an old gentleman sold me a few years back ( $35 CAN for the box ). I had no idea there was a CR-1320A in it until I got it home.

An assume colleague built a couple Adlib reproduction sound cards for me. Now I just need to figure out if I want sound or networking in my IBM PC. #retrocomputing

Happy to find an inexpensive Tandy 1000 RL on Kijiji ( did not include keyboard or monitor and was untested ). Seems to work perfectly including the 20MB hard disk. I believe it still has PCjr sound and graphics.

@PomroyTrevor @FreddyVETELE The may be true. I know the PCjr’s connector does not support DMA, so not sure if that is a big issue or not.

Got a dead PCjr mobo to post. The 8088 was faulty ( some address lines were dead). However looking at the CLK it would seem that the voltage is out of spec so maybe the 8284A clock generator is dying? Will compare with one of my other PCjrs. #retrocomputing

Trying to resurrect an Vtech laser 8086 turbo XT/3. Luckily I have the schematics. But think I need to borrow a proper scope for this one. #retrocomputing
