@NDLiteracy A6. #ncrcchat I let students pick their independent reading books. They have journals to write ideas/thoughts in as well. I pick IXL skills for each chapter in math. They can can pick and choose which skills they want to practice for extra credit.
@NDLiteracy Q5. #ncrcchat I loved getting my masters in Ed. After that I love taking classes, networking, getting ideas, and listening to other teachers.
@NDLiteracy A4. #ncrcchat I have created nooks and provided spaces such as: tables, benches, and desks for students to write. They can always use a clipboard and write on the floor. They mostly do their writing on their chrome book.
@NDLiteracy A2. #ncrcchat I like sharing and listening to new ideas. Iβve been taking a lot of classes and people are always sharing their ideas at classes. I also like Instagram FB for sharing. I should look on Twitter more often.
@NDLiteracy A1. #ncrcchat my favorite teacher was Mr. Asay and Mrs. Schlund. They were my favorite teachers because you could tell they genuinely cared.
@NDLiteracy#ncrcchat Q6. Iβm currently reading for enjoyment, The Library at Mount Char. Professional Development book, Talk to me by Kim Bearden. Picture Book, I love them all. Favorite Read Aloud is Number the Stars.
@NDLiteracy#ncrcchat I revamp my lessons/units every chance I get. Iβm always searching for the best lessons or the best way to teach it. I sticky note my lessons on what went well or what to skip next time. Like my dad says, sometimes you eat chicken, sometimes you eat the feathers. π
@NDLiteracy#ncrcchat I would have Jerry Seinfeld as my substitute. My everyday classroom is a lot about βnothingβ but at the same time full of opportunities. Plus, 5th grade can be comical.
