@EvanStrothers@TeamStubHub@StubHub@StubHubAdvocacy This is crazy as I sold ticket on Stubhub once, couldn’t make the delivery as I couldn’t reach a post office in time and had to cancel and then was charged £700 to replace their tickets (a few days in advance) out of my own pocket because of their guarantee.
Thanks @SkyFootball for a coupla old geeza’s physics lesson who know nothing about physics 😂
Ya can easy get that much power, it’s basic physics fellas
@RezzyCfc @ftblSharl @Kaiante_@_WokeNonsenseFC Similar to rugby — friendlies worth less than comps, and particularly World Cups. Could even go as far as ELO ranking darts on basis of who you vs. and their rank on what points you get, like a boxing P2P system. But silly still that darts uses prize money as rankings.
@PositivFuturist@roisenav@JonathanLigmas ‘shit happens’ is an awful way to summarise a horrific event where innocent people died for the incompetencies of government and suppliers/contractors.
After the disaster of Sky Sports Halo 🤦🏻♂️
WSL Football has been asked for the footage from the Womens League Cup QF/SF draw due to concerns over the process of the draw 🤦🏻♂️
Is this really the way for women's football to be taken seriously? Feels like one step forward, two back 🤦🏻♂️
@JoshGhalgh@Fiat__Justitia@merf_sdp I submitted my chargeback yesterday, so hoping to get mine back soon. Given the wide coverage of it too now, I imagine other banks will also follow with swift action!
@Fiat__Justitia@merf_sdp I would expect a reasonable person test for someone signing up to be used; a reasonable person would have assumed this was for the original party, not a fractured new party, and thus would be misrepresentation.
The difficult will be though, opening up the chasm of extra parties leaves a power vacuum that can be absorbed up by populist parties like reform and a comeback by the Tories. The U.K. really is in a political pickle.
Would you not be embarrassed being a police officer today? Arresting old folk and searching their bags and charging them with terrorism for holding up a sign. Keir Starmer’s Britain is slowly becoming an dystopian Orwell 1984 state.
Police arrest a tearful old lady for holding a sign saying she opposes genocide and supports Palestine Action.
Who joins the police to do this? Keir Starmer and Yvette Cooper should hang their heads in utter shame, the world will be watching this in disbelief.
Honestly, it’s difficult to comprehend that the biggest and most shameful attacks on liberty and personal autonomy have both happened under Labour governments. Look at the reign News of the World had in the 00s and now Starmer’s Labour. We need a new left.
