'Reach, touch, and teach student concerns and process education.' 1970. A rich personal story, now gives us the long view, second hand copies on the internet and a massive republishing opportunity for a canny publisher.
Let's go further. What would you add? Lachlan yrs too!🙂
4/x V influential on critical thinking skills and education: Terry Borton's work from experience in "Richmond's [California] ghetto schools" in the 1960s. 'Reach, touch, and teach student concerns and process education.' His 3 Qs seen widely in OD /
3/x: Sage Handbook of Action Research - always good. 2015 ed. has much on emancipatory work in race and ethnicity inc. group and org level. Not cheap - go through a library?

Lachlan, I've (Ian) been looking for resources on this very Q for the ODNE Twitter team. Don't have much yet either (salutary). But let's organise. Everyone: if we start from where we are, what have we got? What is useful? What can we do without burdening black people? More /
@ODN_Europe Ian, thank you so much! I have time set aside this week to dive into some deep research, and will share back on this thread. Looking forward to reading what you've already shared!
I have always found it difficult to reliably access current, relevant work about race and organizational development, especially written by black authors. This has to change (it has always had to change), and you are better situated than most to push that change forward.
@ODNetwork It sounds like you're working on bringing in more black and other marginalized folks to contribute content, but it would be really helpful if you could curate work by black scholars and practitioners right now.
This is a delicious take. I love art music, and what I make arguably fits that description most of the time, but music theory should be about extending possibilities for all listeners and musicians. Not theoretical puzzle boxes.
This tune deeply impacted my aesthetic priorities in mixing. There are lots of songs that squish to create energy but this on hits so hard. The way it manages spatialization with brickwalling is unique.
