Ok this is from Bat Boy & that chord name is a typo. It should read “E(b5)/Bb”. The “thing” designation was something @LacketyLac + I devised to describe a different chord (it woulda read Bb, Db, Gb, A). Extra points to whoever guesses what Sondheim song I stole that chord from.
