@elonmusk You should design an extra tab on X that allows a link to each of your representatives in government. It would be the true soap box. The reps would then be able to sort their followers based on expertise and ask direct questions to the experts in their districts on each issue.
@RepAuchincloss What is the bills approach to rebate pass through in regards to the conversion of rebates to admin fees funneled through off shore gpos. How can we prevent PBMs from just converting everything they have been collecting in rebates to admin fees?
@matthewstoller AG Gentner Drummond has hired a staff of 13 employees for the Pharmacy Benefit Manager Compliance and Enforcement department. He has multiple attorneys, investigators, and data analysts to help go after the continual disregard from PBMs of Oklahoma law.
NEW: Oklahoma proposed the nation’s first detailed rule to control temperatures during shipping, according to pharmacy experts, to keep medications safe from degrading or weakening due to exposure to harmful temperatures. https://t.co/kJ8SaQqOIR
@OK4AffordableRx since you want transparency. Would you please let everyone know that the pbm middleman for Tricare (veterans) gets paid $17 for essentially doing nothing and the pharmacy that buys the inventory, fills the RX, counsels the patients on interactions, etc. often looses $ to fill rxs
@pcmanet Don’t you mean…. One way or the other patients pay? Patients pay, pharmacies get extorted, and PBMs/insurance companies get rich! PBMs stated purpose is to keep drug prices down. How is that going? Drug Prices soar and PBMs post record profits at the expense of the patients.
@pcmanet This is a perfect visual for the prescription drug market not being a “FREE MARKET”. 3 companies control 80-90% market share and do a terrible job, yet still siphon hundreds of millions of $ out of healthcare yearly!
@OK4AffordableRx Please show you math on how giving the patient the right to fill their RX at an OKlahoma owned independent pharmacy vs being forced to send their RX to an out of state pbm owned mail order pharmacy increases costs? This bill is about pt choice and allowing free market to work
@BethWaldron@CVSHealth Can you show where leadership acknowledged decreased safety knowledge, but went ahead with the switch? That would be good info to have.
@pcmanet Pbm logic= $10.50 is too much to pay a pharmacy to stock & dispense drug, counsel pt, check interactions, answer questions, etc.. also pbm logic= we are essentially a credit card processor &“deserve” $6 for doing almost nothing. Ohio audit $244million spread / 41m claims = $6.
