There are 3 states of existence.

The non-living (metal, stone), unconscious, simply existing.

The animal, conscious of its own existence, but not a witness to it.

The human, the only one carrying the potential to become a witness.

True humanity does not begin at birth. It begins the day the witnessing consciousness awakens inside you.

Witnessing is the ability to stand back and observe your own pain, your own hunger, your own emotions, without becoming identical to them.
The moment you say I am angry, you have already merged with the anger. The witness says, anger is arising, and I am watching it arise. That small shift changes everything.

Most people never reach this state. They live entirely as the doer. They believe I am walking, I am breathing, I am thinking, I am feeling.
But breathing happens on its own. The heart beats on its own. Thoughts arrive on their own.
The Karta, the doer, is a construct the ego builds on top of processes that were already happening without it.

This is exactly what the Gita is pointing toward when Krishna says the one established in yoga sees action happening through the gunas, not through himself.

You are not the doer. You are the witness who forgot it was watching.

The animal cannot ask who is experiencing this. Only you can. That single question is the doorway out of the stone, out of the animal, and into what a human being was actually meant to become.

Jupiter in the first house -

Now read it carefully here because this placement surprises people every time it is explained properly.

The first house is the self. The body. The entire presentation of who the person is in the world. Jupiter placed here creates a person who in a past life was genuinely a teacher, a guru, a philosophical guide for others.
