An NPC in Snezhnaya just gave us one of the strangest theories about Morax. And the first part of his "conspiracy theory" is actually true.

Arsenyev claims that the Geo Archon never died. Of course, we already know that. Zhongli simply faked Morax's death.

But then his story gets much more interesting.

According to his "sources," Morax split his own spirit into a billion microscopic pieces and fused them into every single piece of Mora. This would supposedly allow him to listen in on conversations and observe what is happening anywhere Mora exists, even all the way in Snezhnaya.

Obviously, the game presents this as a conspiracy theory.

But when we are talking about Zhongli, the idea might not be as ridiculous as it sounds.

We have already seen what Adeptal Arts are capable of. The Serenitea Pot can contain an enormous independent realm inside something as small as a teapot. A space that exists separately from the ordinary world of Teyvat and can sustain an entire environment of its own.

And that is what makes Arsenyev's dialogue so suspicious. Also then there is something Madame Ping told us years ago:

Sub Space Creation, the Adeptal Art that allows someone to create a small, autonomous pocket world, was originally a gift granted to the Adepti by Rex Lapis.

And Madame Ping literally calls her teapot a "little trinket" and says that it is "nothing to boast of."

Creating an autonomous pocket world inside a teapot is considered unimpressive by someone who received that very ability from Morax.

So if Morax can grant other beings the ability to create independent spaces, how far does his own power actually go?

And now I think, the idea of Morax splitting his spirit into countless fragments and embedding those fragments into Mora does not sound quite as impossible
