@KennyLauderdal3 It fascinates me on what Pokemon stuff flies off the shelves. Cards, obv. Stickers, sometimes. But my Target still has a ton of Pokemon Legos, candy, kickballs, etc. The Pokemon sour patch kids have been out for so long they took them out of the system because they didn’t sell
@TheStingisBack It’s very satisfying to see Matsudas most iconic Japanese films making their way across the world on blu ray/streaming. Hopefully the Detective Story show will make the rounds, Matsuda was excellent with comedy
@Marierosebanana Call me crazy, but I think he’s using the rewind feature in these clips because he’s talking about rewind features. A reporter doesn’t talk about a protest and then show footage of a beach.
My latest review covers the Yusaku Matsuda action trilogy, *The Game Trilogy*. All 3 movies are very different from each other, but are equally entertaining and interesting

@djpyscho10646 Tenchi in Tokyo (in my opinion) isn’t very good, but it’s moments like this that keep me watching to see how often this happens (also good morning)
@CesaireElgay@MercuryFalcon@ChadVision I’m lending you my energy to will the Tenchi blu ray into existence (as well as Dirty Pair and One Pound Gospel because those are also great)
@vdeviance The Black Lagoon blu rays are being sold at ridiculous prices by re sellers rn and I don’t think Funimation is selling the Tenchi dvds themselves anymore. It’s mostly being sold by third party resellers with seemingly no connection to Funimation/Crunchyroll
@B_Rabbit843 It was very heartwarming to see all the Tenchi fans come out of the woodwork for the comic kickstarter. Because Tenchi is usually talked about in small circles, I was surprised to see how many of us there actually were. Maybe it was like a sleeper agent thing when people saw it
I never thought backing a very unknown comic of an (at the time) unknown anime would lead to that anime finally making a return to the wider anime sphere. One of my favorite pieces of my collection and so happy I was able to contribute to helping Tenchi make a comeback
@CCharmanderK The Discotek releases of Photon and Dual Parallel are pretty good. Dual is SDBD but they did a bit of a remaster for Photon. The only other company I would potentially put my faith in is Sentai, I can’t vouch for their overall quality, but the stuff I got from them is alright.
@B_Rabbit843 Something I loved about these is that they actually did the whole song in English, not just the tv sizes. And they actually got the original instrumentation to place the English vocals on, which wasn’t guaranteed in the early days of anime dubbing
Movies 1 and 3 are directed by Hiroshi Negishi, who is slated to return for this new entry, Tenchi Galaxy. Hopefully it can capture a slight amount of the essence these movies had. Tenchi Forever (Movie 3) is a must watch for any Tenchi Muyo fan. (2/2)
Now that Tenchi Muyo has the possibility of another entry, I think it’s a good time to put forward my video on the Tenchi Universe movies again. (1/2)
