Evelyn, CEO of 44 Clothing, Breaks Silence, Narrates What Happened Between Her and Boyfriend Derrick, saying a month ago, he started giving her attitude.
“I’m really sorry to my family and friends for allowing my emotions to get the best of me. A day before my disappearance, a blog made a post, and my boyfriend, Derrick, accused me of being the one sending information to the blog. That was how the whole issue started. Despite everything I’ve been going through, I now have to deal with heartbre@k as well.”

A submarine cable station ? Along a highway construction ?
😹 😹
closed down businesses because “someone” liked the view and wished there was a coastal road there and gave order to start constructing no appraisal?
oh I forgot no one’s asking for approval
As a civil engineer, I find it surprising that people who have no engineering training will boldly fault engineering design decisions without understanding the background reason.
The real question any critic should ask is: are the reasons behind this design change genuine?
You are laughing with emojis because you are looking at a mega-infrastructure project through the lens of a tailor.
A road route is not drawn in permanent ink. The diversion of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway from the immediate shoreline is not a mistake; it is a calculated decision based on very practical realities.
First, the original route directly clashed with the landing stations of Nigeria's international submarine cables. Building over them would mean risking a massive internet and telecommunications blackout for the entire country.
Second, sticking strictly to the old coastal line meant the government would have to destroy multi-billion Naira investments, established resorts, and ancestral communities. One of them is Okun-Ajah.
Therefore, diverting the road slightly inland saves the government billions in compensation and protects people's homes and livelihoods.
Again, one thing we must not forget is that the Atlantic Ocean is aggressive. Because of severe coastal erosion, building a permanent highway right on the water's edge is dangerous.
As such, moving the road inward creates a safe buffer against ocean surges so the highway does not wash away in a few years.
Anything outside of this is a political talk. And I am not interested in that.
Engineering is about solving real-world problems. So next time, before you laugh at a structural diversion, understand the facts driving it.
@La3i3i What’s always up with non smokers with always talking about smokers business, does it give you a hard on ??? Like yes you don’t smoke weed , we get it. STFU
"The liver of a leopard is the most highly poisonous in the world, and has the potency to ruin the whole world if consumed. If you sun-dry its liver and put the smallest piece of it into 25 liters of water, if 1 million people drink that water, it will k!ll all of them" - Nigerian traditionalist says
