He is now 92 years old.

He grew up at the time when men were much closer to nature and got the best of native intelligence through traditional training.

He is equally well advanced in Western Education and I can imagine he has gone around the world.

He is an ancient Professor. He combines the depth of knowledge from Literature, Classics, Arts etc and joined these with indept traditional education of the Yoruba people.

Today at 92 he will say something about Yoruba Culture, Customs and Spirituality and one boy who was born just yesterday will come out to say Prof. Soyinka is an "Idol Worshipper" who doesn't know what he is saying.

The small boy knows better because he is a freaking Pastor or Imam.

These things are very irritating to me.
