the only thing i’ll say about connor’s met gala look in retrospect is that his face, body, and general effervescence consistently salvage what are otherwise uninspired ready-to-wear fits. which on any other occasion is fine. but at the met gala—the biggest fashion stage in the world—even a splash of color or an interesting use of textiles or a dash of texture would’ve given people something to talk about the next day.

and again, it doesn't take much for connor to look stunning. he could wear a burlap sack and call it a day. genuinely one of the most beautiful male actors to come around in a long time, with a heart of gold to match.

but ysl is so unmemorable and so uninteresting, which is the polar opposite of what connor is. there’s so much lost potential when on his own he's so captivating. but that’s just how it is right now, i guess.
