@SpiritAirlines is a complete sham and lies to its passengers!!! Plane was about to take off from Aus > FLL and then they take us back to gate to then sit on plane for 45 mins before deplaning. All of that is very typical from a budget airline, but when we get off the plane the gate attendant proceeds to tell us that we cannot use the restroom or venture around the airport but need to stay right by the gate. Are we prisoners to @SpiritAirlines? I nicely asked if the agent would text us or send us an email notification when the flight would be boarding again. She proceeded to be very rude and aggressive towards myself and other passengers saying we need to stay right by the gate and that would be the only way we are notified when to board again. This is HORRIFIC customer service and plain wrong to treat people like this. @SpiritAirlines believes all of its patrons are just numbers for their abysmal bottom line and doesn’t treat us like human beings.
Ohhh and we were supposed to receive an update every 15 mins. It’s been over an hour since we “deplaned” and there has not been one update.
