@moonchild1008 @flythosecolours @thefempire50 @RupertLowe10 They certainly “misinterpret” or “misunderstand” or don’t read/take notice of the evidence. My son’s assessment said he was able to do things when there was a huge amount of evidence to support that he couldn’t. And the DWP believe the assessment. We had to appeal to a tribunal.

They say in their report “you have no problem cooking a meal from scratch” when you have told them verbally, written it on the form, got medical & other evidence to back it up, that it’s an impossible task for you.

@thefempire50 @moonchild1008 @RupertLowe10 And the DWP seem to start from the point where they think you’re lying and fabricating your difficulties and it’s up to you to try and prove them wrong. I filled my son’s form in full of confidence that he’d get it and he got 0 points. It was an 8 month battle before they agreed

The forum is full of people fighting to get what they’re entitled to, being turned down, going to the tribunal. There’s not one post saying it’s easy, or “just say this”.
