Psst... tomorrow I'm sending out my first Caroline Finds It email, which is a weekly substack for product recommendations! Subscribe here: https://t.co/eGcsQw9PHH
Just to clarify: I HAVE been a patron of various libraries for the past 31 years, I have just now discovered the wonder that is the research department
I'm 31 years late to the game, but the library is AMAZING!! I spent my day looking through 1970s Yellow Pages microfilms and will return tomorrow to sort through the many boxes of material that were pulled from offsite storage for me
We really don't deserve this resource!! The NYPL is a magical haven for learners. Just looking at the Rose Reading Room ceiling makes me want to weep with appreciation.
The irony is not lost on my that I used to sell office supplies for a living and had never actually worked in an office. Now's my chance! I wonder when the novelty will wear off.
In case anyone's wondering: I'm giving being an Office Girl a try and have a desk at a co-working space. My priority desk items are: badly homemade resin coasters, a handful of glitter gel pens and a stack of Doane Paper pads.
When @ladygraphite closed the great C.W. Pencil Enterprise, I told her that I hope she creates a substack to share all the great stuff she discovers and does.
Very excited to see Caroline Finds It! https://t.co/JA9nNKINhk
You can also find me on Substack, which is where my Orchard Street Reading Society book club now lives. I really like using this platform and will probably continuing to make email newsletters for stuff I like. https://t.co/yAABlrzahJ
