In secrecy, they forged a weapon to abuse the meager—instead revealing their own evil nature. Alas! Evil is exposed by its own reflection. In God, We Trust.
@athomas_25 really? You actually thought you’d get away with this bs in the age of everybody has camera phone and you are on TV? You have the opportunity to get paid to play a sport you love and you act like a playground bully. Grow up. Stop being a classless thug.
Breaking: Alyssa Thomas is suspended for one game after receiving a Flagrant foul 2 penalty for recklessly making contact with her fist to the throat area of Caitlin Clark, the WNBA announced.
@RandyRRQuaid When nobody seems to be pointing out is that you can even see in the video that the offender even looks over her shoulder to make sure the official is not looking at her. She should be suspended for more than just one game. iMessage needs to be sent.
@espn Good. It’s a pity they couldn’t move a little quicker on that call. If officials can’t keep their eye on the game, and there is a pattern of this with certain officials, they’re incompetent —toss em.
@GideonMarvel1@espn Given the current state of gambling on sports, wouldn’t be surprised if somebody’s money depended on Clark’s performance. These offenders may start getting visits from real crooked nose characters. Bet she didn’t think about that…. 😬
@espn If you fine teams/owners, you’ll see that conduct come to a screeching halt or you’ll see offenders get a little more than a smack on the wrist. The offender jammed her fist into Clark’s neck—this country was lit on fire when a cop used a knee on George Floyd‘s neck. Ain’t right.
@espn W/o officials calling consistently, they sanction violence against players. How do we know this isn’t gambling activities interfering w the game— handicapping players. Investigate the abusers & officials. If a pattern of conduct by individuals or teams emerges, fine the owners.
A cat stole the show during the final scene of a performance of "Romeo and Juliet" by the Imperial Russian Ballet Company in Turkey, with the kitty seen clawing at Romeo's hair as he lies dead on stage while Juliet agonizes over the loss of her lover. https://t.co/RFFCfvSX18

Here’s an example of how jacked up the Republican Party is here in Virginia.
Democrats have proposed three new amendments for voters to consider in November. They include:
Abortion up to and including birth;
Gay marriage with deliberately confusing gender language;
Allowing felons to vote.
You would think Republicans would oppose enshrining these things into our state constitution, right?
Nope.
Yesterday, the Republican Party of Virginia State Central Committee voted 55-17 to oppose the amendments. Great. They voted to oppose … BUT 17 Republicans voted not to oppose them.
WTF?
And thus far, they refuse to name names.
This is why we lose.
This is why the @VA_GOP is lost.
Seventeen Republicans voted against opposing abortion up to and including birth? Unreal.
Maybe just switch parties.
The FBI just fired multiple employees over the Richmond Catholic memo.
Stanley Meador was the Special Agent in Charge of the Richmond FBI office when that memo was produced.
Today, Meador serves as Virginia’s Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security.
If the memo was serious enough to get analysts fired, it’s fair to ask why the people at the bottom lost their jobs while the person running the office now oversees Virginia’s entire public safety system.
Out of the hundreds of qualified people that Abigail Spanberger could have picked, she picked this guy. Thats a story in and of itself.
A federal report released today also confirms our client’s whistleblower disclosures that the Admin was bullying school districts into complying with its importation of radical gender ideology into Title IX—even though a federal judge had specifically enjoined them from doing so in 20 states.
@MixonPeter@StephenKing Amy Adams was great in Sharp Objects w Patricia Clarkson as the narcissistic mother—together they made you feel the pendulum of emotional manipulation & conflict between a narcissistic mother & her emotionally troubled adult daughter. Worth a watch—both actresses were brilliant.
@PithyTruth@StephenKing They were unlikeable, yes… but—De Niro’s Cady conveyed such evil cunning and malice, I rooted for him to go down. His level of malicious evil made me actually sympathize for self-centered Nolte & Lange. That is a monumental achievement from my POV being from inside the beltway.
@Vernam@StephenKing Oh damn, really? I had that reaction to Guillermo del Toro’s Nightmare Alley—the whole starving man chicken/rooster scene. I said—“Nope. Turned it right off.” The second half of Babylon had that same effect—never rewatched it. 2nd half cannibalised the first half.
@StephenKing Really? For what purpose? I was considering watching it. De Niro was truly terrifying in the last remake I saw—difficult to top his Cady. My apologies for being dense… are you suggesting the latest version is attempting to steer the audience into sympathy for the antagonist?
Stop. Show some actual courage and reject the lies your party tells about President Trump, which have now repeatedly enflamed weak and vicious minds to so many attempts on his life.
If you truly cared, you'd work to end the assassination culture that has infected your party.
