Today we were supposed to return to work after the conclusion of our 3-day Unfair Labor Practice strike. We were looking forward to getting back to our jobs and to supporting NEA members.

The #1u movement works because unionized staffers at @aflcioguild, @AFSCMEusu and many more do! However, many of us continue to experience corporate tricks and delay tactics instead of good faith bargaining. It’s time for @MaryKayHenry and @LizShuler to practice what they preach!

.@MaryKayHenry's #NPR interview was full of inaccuracies. The facts:
We've had 20+ sessions & @SEIU brought the same proposal & reversed line item TAs for half of those. The wages offered are an effective paycut. Retroactive pay has been taken off & added back as a 'new proposal'
DYK that @SEIU leadership spent 5 times more on consultants than unionized staff? And that their are 5 at-will employees per every unionized staffer?
