Had the pleasure of meeting with our @lafMiller educators as we regrouped and rejuvenated for Year 2 with Positive Action! Loved seeing how they are integrating the “I See You’s” and celebrating the positive actions of their students and staff! ❤️❤️

@LSClafayette Here's tip #2:
When building our plates be sure to make half of the plate fruits🍎 and veggies🥦! These foods can add color, texture, vitamins, and minerals to the plate! Try experimenting with fresh, frozen, and canned to find your favorite!
The LSC School Board approved the hiring of Deb Patterson to be the principal at Oakland Elementary and Erin Phillips at Miller Elementary. Congrats to both! Each school is so lucky to have them! @LSClafayette

WOW! Ms. Stachowicz at @lafMiller went above and BEYOND with her @PosActSEL lessons this week. Kindergartners are in Unit 3 learning about their emotions and she created a STEM lesson where students worked as a team to make a boat to make the animals from their lessons float!
Happy New Year! Just a quick reminder that our in-person students will come back as *eLearners* for a week before returning to classrooms January 11. Everyone is online from January 4-8.
Important information from LSC: All students will have remote learning (eLearning) January 4-8, 2021. In-Person students will return to their buildings on Monday, January 11, 2021. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Congratulations to Allison, a fourth-grader at @lafMiller, on being named @LafayetteINPD's Student of the Month! Mayor Roswarski and City Clerk Cindy Murray joined the surprise party to tell Allison how proud everone is of her hard work and excellent citizenship. Well done!
Officer Cain was keeping the neighborhood safe and stopped by to say hi to some 1st graders. He answered a *lot* of questions and was a huge hit! Thank you Officer Cain! @LafayetteINPD
