The Tale of Two Billionaires
Last week, Illinois’ most famous out-migrant and most generous philanthropist, Ken Griffin, pledged $3 billion to Carnegie Mellon University, with $2 billion alone going toward a Miami campus—the largest gift to a university in history.
Griffin has already donated $400 million to organizations in his new home state of Florida.
Gov. JB Pritzker and other Democrats publicly mocked Griffin and celebrated when he and more than 1,000 of his well-paid employees left Illinois, taking with him the $200 million in annual state income taxes he pays, not counting those paid by his well-compensated employees.
Griffin’s sin? Trying to help keep Illinois a two-party state by countering Pritzker’s massive political spending. The absence of checks and balances has allowed Pritzker to raise taxes and fees 63 times, taking another $87 billion out of the pockets of Illinois residents and businesses.
Billionaire Pritzker, by the way, apparently paid only $869,000 in taxes in 2024, while the family trust paid $4.5 million.
Griffin took his charity with him, too, after providing a record $650 million to Chicago-area institutions, including awarding $130 million after he had already made his decision to leave—dwarfing Pritzker’s giving.
Meanwhile, the Pritzker family has generously benefited from a charitable government through various commercial property tax reductions, publicly backed venue funding, and legacy tax structures.
Unlike Griffin, who spends many times more on charity than on politics, Pritzker’s preferred charity is himself, having spent $439 million to be elected governor, millions more on Democratic candidates in Illinois and nationwide, and $30 million in the last election to help secure a Republican nominee who would be easier for him to beat.
.@GovPritzker, I saw your post honoring lives lost in Minnesota—standing publicly, naming Alex Pretti and Renee Good, and laying flowers in their memory.
But where was that same compassion on January 19, 2025?
That is the day my 20-year-old daughter, Katie Abraham, was killed here in Illinois. She was innocent. She did not knowingly put herself in the middle of an ongoing law enforcement situation. She was not making a dangerous choice.
She was simply living her life—and it was taken from her.
You have never said her name. You have never come to where she died. You have never acknowledged her publicly.
And beyond that—you have never even responded to me.
I sent you a simple, non-political letter. Not for attention. Not for headlines. Just a father asking for clarity, for answers, and for understanding of the state’s position.
You never replied.
And now, in the wake of another tragedy here in Chicago, your public display of compassion elsewhere—while remaining silent about victims in your own state—feels deeply disconnected from the reality families like mine are living every day.
Instead, you continue to defend sanctuary policies that create the conditions where preventable tragedies like hers can happen.
This is not about politics. It’s about leadership and accountability.
When you choose to publicly mourn some victims while remaining silent about others—especially those lost under policies you support—it sends a message.
Whether intentional or not, it tells families like mine that our loss does not matter the same way.
So I am asking you directly:
Where is your compassion for my daughter? Where is your acknowledgment of victims here in Illinois? And when will you take responsibility for the consequences of the policies you defend?
Say her name: Katie Abraham.
Stand where she died. Show the people of Illinois that every life matters.

Still no coverage in NYT, WaPo, CNN, or Minneapolis Star-Tribune of massive fraud being uncovered in Minnesota. The media's willingness to ignore stories that hurt Democrats is truly astonishing.
Unfortunately, there will be very few Democrat voters who even have a slight moment of self reflection or individual accountability.
They won’t get mad at Hillary or Obama for lying to them and committing treason.
They will only be mad at Trump and Tulsi for exposing it.
Biden’s Presidency started with him denying the existence of Hunter’s laptop and is ending with Biden pardoning Hunter for all the things found on his laptop.
The same people who told you Trump is a fascist, engaged in fascism.
The same people who told you Trump is racist, engaged in racism.
The same people who told you Trump was a liar, lied.
The same people who told you Trump will take away your bodily autonomy, took away your bodily autonomy.
Don’t just look where the finger is pointing - look at who is pointing.
The problem with Kamala voters is they just don't care. They don't care what policies she has. Don't care if she crashes the economy. Don't care if she destroys the country.
All they care about is Trump losing and how much they hate him.
Harris skipped the primary process. She was installed as the nominee by a few powerful people within the Democratic Party.
Since then, she has refused to do interviews or answer any questions. You don’t need to be a Trump supporter to believe that’s wrong & bad for the country.
Remember when Pres. Trump almost had his head blown off 25 days ago, and then we learned basically nothing about the shooter, and then the Secret Service and FBI lied about it, and then the media stopped talking about it, and then Big Tech suppressed its results in search? Weird.
While Americans have long complained about Joe Biden's mental acuity, the reason why his favorability was in the 30s *prior* to the debate is because Americans don't like his policies. Inflation, no border, foreign policy crises, energy collapse, etc.
.@marcorubio: When Donald Trump was president, I can't think of a single prominent Democrat who was prosecuted, so it's funny to hear these people out there "warning" of all the ridiculous things they claim Trump will do. They're the ones going after their political opponents!
“Okay, maybe we lied about Biden’s health.
And Russian collusion.
And Covid.
And Hunter’s Laptop.
And January 6th.
And Ukraine.
And Epstein.
And Hollywood.
And everything in between…
But trust us when we tell you Trump is a threat to our democracy!”
This is a battle to the death with the anti-civilizational woke mind virus.
My positions are centrist:
- Secure borders
- Safe & clean cities
- Don’t bankrupt America with spending
- Racism against any race is wrong
- No sterilization below age of consent
Is this right-wing?
