Now the run has finished I can finally post the (bloodied!) curtain call of Phaedra at the Nash. An actor joyfest to get to witness Janet McTeer onstage again after so many years away. She really is incredible. Huge congrats to all involved in making this show.
Because of Janet McTeer I’ve started The White Queen and… when her character is gone I don’t have motivation to finish the series, I’ve seen much better tv shows 🙈
Do YOU have a favourite castle in #Scotland? 🏰 Perched on a distinctive headland, Dunnottar Castle is a gem of Aberdeenshire's coastline & only a short distance from the city of #Aberdeen! 🙌💙

@ilona_jazz either like a monster or like a “granny” anymore. The play didn’t protect Helen’s right for sexual needs etc., and its difficult to defend her actions. But if I stop thinking about such aspects, then yep, it was bloody great. It stayed with me, make me think about it for hours.
Exactly a week ago I was between „just seen Frozen” and „going to see Phaedra”. The things I would do to see Janet McTeer perform live one more time… but I’m kilometres away from London now 😢
Five spectacular sets inside one rotating glass box 😲
With thanks to Phaedra's designer @chloelamford, production manager @MekelEdwards and production assistant Luka Goodsal.
