@JoJoFromJerz We are willing to help our neighbours but do not want to become a state. Canada has its own history, and no desire to merge with the USA π¨π¦π¨π¦π¨π¦
@Dr_BellaR In our ER, I address the doctors by their first names (nothing to do with sex/gender) in our desk/work area. If we are both in the treatment space with the patient, I use their title. Will say, itβs just as annoying when one doctor likes to address all nurses as βbuddy.β
@ConditorCancri I know where I work, we regularly have 1/4-1/2 of our department with patients who are admitted, have a hospital doctor to manage their care but no ward bed/space available to go to, so they stay in the ER until they can get a bed.
@ConditorCancri I donβt doubt that the staff working that day will have done what they could and were facing all manner of challenges that the public have absolutely no idea about. They may have been dealing with strokes, sepsis, DKA, febrile neutropenia β¦
@ConditorCancri My condolences to his family on their loss, I also have compassion to the staff that were on duty and did the best with what they had and are misunderstood and vilified at this time. Maybe that ER was 1/2 full of admitted patients needing a hospital bed on the ward and waiting.
@ConditorCancri This guy was alert, talking, ekg done (and I would bet labs were drawn after all, and lab results will not demonstrate an aneurysm, depending on where, it would be ultrasound or a CTA) and left with no follow up plans.
