If 1.1% of voters (175,000) across the 3 blue wall states had chosen Harris over Trump, she would be President.
I get that Trump won but this isn’t a “blowout” or a “landslide” and it’s certainly not a mandate.
1.1% across 3 states is all it was.
@Charles77232603@KlasfeldReports@MeidasTouch Except those of us who live/work out of state on that one specific Tuesday in November who can't vote in person. I would love to be there, but rely on the mail in ballot I have never received.
@KlasfeldReports I'll tell you what. I'm one of those who never received my mail in ballot. I had been blaming it on Mississippi (where I am) not Erie County, but I may be placing the blame in the wrong spot. Luckily I was able to get back to Erie to vote early in person. #VoteBlue
If he loses, Trump will say it was because "illegal immigrants" were voting. His campaign, his party and its pundits are preparing that narrative now

New ad from the Harris campaign on reproductive freedom, ahead of the VP's speech in Texas on Friday. This is a very tough one to watch, but it's incredibly important to. Thank you so much to Ondrea and Ceasar for trusting us to share their story.
Climate change is no longer a future threat; it is a present reality. Honored to speak about ‘Climate Change as a National Security Challenge’ at George Washington University’s @ElliottSchoolGW. Check out my remarks here: https://t.co/2rcYyOIkdm @GWtweets
Call me crazy, but if the barrier island is under a mandatory evacuation order, I'm not sure I would be playing on the beach at this point. Snap taken from live cam at 2:39 EDT. #ClearwaterBeach#HurricaneHelene
In Trump’s speech, he promised to deport pro-Palestinian protesters, hinted he could have prosecuted HRC, suggested he wouldn’t protect some NATO countries, promised to give police immunity… That’s just TONIGHT. My thread could be OUR REALITY if we don’t win in Nov. H/t @atrupar
My best buddy has developed a mass on his shoulder. I’m starting a GoFundMe to help cover the costs of treatments. So far, the vet is thinking it’s not cancerous, but now into week 4, who knows.

Many don't understand how much scientists like to argue with each other--which makes the scientific consensus around climate change so compelling. But we still do argue, and here's a good example. I'm with most of the commentators in this article, myself.

As an American economist, I feel in part it's my own failing (and our collective failing) that so many our my fellow Americans don't yet understand how important and successful this President's economic policies have been.
For more, check out this recent podcast I did with @CTmagazine’s The Bulletin. We not only discuss how we know climate is changing and humans are responsible; we also discuss the faith-based case for hope rather than doom and gloom. https://t.co/S9K6VOvWuC
