@WallyWestEnd@mrfolider@MaxRadwan Bro the UEFA Super Cup has extra time + pens, it’s made to find a winner. The Community Shield? Used to get shared custody like a divorced couple. Call it what it is a preseason friendly with pyro😭
@mrfolider@l_is_for_legs@_JX14_@MaxRadwan The fact that the Community Shield used to be shared when games ended in a draw tells you everything, no other ‘major’ trophy does that. It’s basically a glorified preseason friendly with a medal, not a real competition.
@l_is_for_legs@mrfolider@_JX14_@MaxRadwan The McDonald trophy was shared:
-1964 – Liverpool 2–2 West Ham United (shared).
-1965 – Manchester United 2–2 Liverpool (shared).
-1978 – Nottingham Forest 0–0 Ipswich Town (shared).
-1980 – Liverpool 1–1 West Ham United (shared).
-1991 – Arsenal 0–0 Tottenham Hotspur (shared).
@mrfolider@MaxRadwan Community Shield isn’t really England’s ‘Super Cup’ the way Spain/Italy have theirs.
-No extra time (straight pens)
-Only 5 subs, no extra sub like other Super Cups
-Historically treated as a charity friendly, not a serious trophy.
Big clubs don’t count it like a proper trophy
@mrfolider@MaxRadwan Because the spanish, italian, german super cup have the same rules as the league.
Community shield has different rules than any other competition, especially the substitutions. It is more of a friendly.
There are 3 trophies in England
-EPL
-FA
-League cup
@LFC_PAUL_ It’s the way he defended, he should never gave his back to the player. He still play the same way he played for Bournemouth, which is a problem he has to adapt to play the liverpool way, which is different.
This squad isn’t an upgrade at all. When we won the league, we had depth, Jota, Darwin, and Díaz could come off the bench and completely change the game. Right now, that kind of impact is missing, and it shows.
