@_alineramos Ontem de madrugada no quarto o Humberto mencionou a suspeita de que o Babu manda e a Chai obedece, mas a tonta da Gabi disse que não é assim, sendo que ela até já presenciou cenas lamentáveis
Baboon statuette carved from pale turquoise faience on a limestone base, Late Period to Greco-Roman Egypt (380–30 BC), currently in the collection of the Cleveland Museum of Art.
This statuette depicts a Papio hamadryas baboon seated on its haunches, hands resting firmly upon its knees in a naturalistic pose. The mane and body fur are delicately incised with scalloped patterns, emulating the baboon's characteristic tufts. The stippled texture on the sides of the face enhances its lifelike appearance. Although ancient, the limestone base bears an unrelated inscription and was combined with the baboon statuette in modern times. The inscription reads: "Words spoken by Harpocrates, given life and health, lord of heaven, (on behalf of) Padiuser, the son of Usernakht and [mother's name uncertain]." In Egyptian religious symbolism, the baboon represented Thoth, deity of the moon, writing, and the afterlife, whose cult flourished notably in the Late and Ptolemaic periods.
