@ahorinek@ksufarmboy@MichaelWSpike@gregzimpleman Also pushing nutrition deeper running more than an inch to where the plants have to work harder to get it. Big shift in thinking but it works. Also with the cut back coming on water it will be critical to know how to manage correctly.
@ahorinek@ksufarmboy@MichaelWSpike@gregzimpleman Tough to recover when you get behind. But looking at probes out here about every 3-4 days is ideal for watering time. .5 to .8 depending how the plants are reacting. Anything more than that shuts the plant down for a day. Get more water into the plant with less water more often
@EvyanSmith25@laneallenw@LucasAHaag@AMillershaski Have seen foliar nutrition in tandem with fungicide help.
Mix I have seen ran is from Nutrien, black label, max n pact, reax sulfur, radiate, with a micro package. Helps to restart the plant from the stress event. As soon as you have leaf area run it
@AgronomyChad Curious what a 6 inch soil test says on this situation. Worked soil has more calcium up at the surface vs the notill that has more magnesium? That would allow more water to infiltrate. Maybe not but curious on your thoughts?
