We should be more concerned that students, especially young students, are getting recess, unstructured play, physical education and more physical activity than whether or not they are prepared for standardized tests. This is what destroys innovation and creativity as they age.
Whether students are remote or in school, we need to encourage as much physical activity as possible. Physical activity helps reduce stress, anxiety, and helps improve self regulation, focus, and on task behaviors. Its as important as any subject!
