Breaking: Gov @jidesanwoolu has extended work from home order for civil servants on Grade Level 14 and below from Monday January 18 to February 1. A circular by @HMOKUNOLA1 Stated that decision was taken by the Gov to successfully curtail the spread of the #COVID19 in the State.
The Permanent Secretary, Parastatals Monitoring Office, Mrs. Kafayat Ajenifuja, said that the topic of discussion for the workshop is to enhance the performance of Audit Officers serving in all the State agencies for better understanding of the internal control system processes.
He further explained that the workshop was organised to revitalise parastatals in the State for a better, effective and efficient service delivery bearing in mind the T.H.E.M.E.S developmental agenda of the administration of Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The Special Adviser described internal control system as a concept designed to provide organisational structure, the right policies as well as procedures to prevent undesirable events and inadequacies in financial processes.

Stating this at a workshop organised for the Heads of Audit Units of Parastatals, the Special Adviser, Parastatals Monitoring Office (PMO), Mr. Afolabi Ayantayo admitted that in the development value-chain of the State Government, efficient internal control is imperative.
