Anything Lagos (a subset of The Lagos Post) is an information hub ranging from entertainment to politics and sports to mention few specific to Lagos state.
I represented Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the 4th Lagos Business School Africa Energy Conference, AEC 2026, where industry leaders and stakeholders discussed how Nigeria can build a more reliable, affordable and sustainable energy market.
Reliable and affordable energy is essential to growing businesses, creating jobs, attracting investment,m and improving the lives of our people. Achieving this requires sound policies, long-term investment and a willingness to listen to the people and businesses that depend on the sector every day.
In Lagos, we understand that a stronger economy begins with creating the right conditions for businesses to thrive. We will continue to support practical solutions that expand access to reliable energy and build a more sustainable future for our state and country.
Our energy future must be one that works for everyone, from the small business owner trying to keep the lights on to the industries powering our economic growth.
I received an email from a Nigerian chef who was sacked by a restaurant in Abuja. They have owed her N700,000 since March 2026. Payment for February and March.
I have advised them to pay her by Friday, 16th October. If they do not, I will pay her myself. From that moment, the debt is no longer hers. It is mine. They become my debtor.
Pay the woman her money. It is N700,000. Your business is probably worth billions.
The next time I tweet about this, names will be called.
Few things excite me more than making big organisations do right by people they assume are weak. Trust me, an orgasm doesn’t come close. At least the feeling lasts longer. I am thirsty.

I join family, friends, colleagues, associates and well-wishers in congratulating Her Excellency, Chief Mrs. Oluremi Hamzat, on her birthday.
I celebrate her remarkable commitment to service and leadership through her advocacy, philanthropy and various initiatives.
As co-convener of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), she has continued to champion initiatives that promote empowerment, inclusion and expand opportunities for women, girls, youth and vulnerable groups.
As she marks another year today, I pray that God grants her good health, renewed strength, lasting joy and abundant blessings.
It was a pleasure to join Femi Adebayo and the creative community at the commissioning of Euphoria 360 Hub in Oregun, Ikeja.
This is a space where ideas can take shape, and young creatives can find the tools and opportunities to build meaningful careers in the creative industry. I am encouraged by its focus on production, post-production, distribution and training.
As a government, we will continue to support initiatives that create opportunities for our people and strengthen Lagos as a home for talent and innovation.
Congratulations, Femi, on this important milestone. I wish Euphoria 360 Hub great success and many years of impact.

President Tinubu has shown courage and determination, and we are prepared to follow his leadership into this season of harvest. The reforms must now translate into tangible benefits and a wider redistribution of their gains. — Senator Adams Oshiomhole
I joined family, friends and loved ones at This Present House on Freedom Way to say a final farewell to a true icon of the entertainment industry, Uncle Olu Jacobs.
We gathered to honour his life and the memories he leaves behind. My thoughts and prayers remain with his family and loved ones as they mourn this great loss. May God grant him eternal rest and give his family the strength to carry on.
Finally, someone says it as it is. Thank you. I remember all sorts of names they called him then including “Elitist Governor”, they said he developed “Island alone” and all that, anyways posterity will judge everyone 🤣🤣🙏🏾🙏🏾
God Bless Lagos State.
