You guys liked the A321 version I posted, so here’s the 737 take:
This system is cable-driven with electric motors, and you can manually trim using the trim wheels in case of failure. There’s a drum under the cockpit and another one on the actuator itself. Don't forget to close the handle on the control wheel if you're trimming electrically, it will hurt 🤣.
Quite different from the Airbus family: while they also use cables, it's only for position feedback, movement is fully hydraulic via three systems. No hydraulics? No trim. But a complete failure of the hydraulic on the Airbus family is highly improbable.
