15 Years I’ve been a season ticket holder at this club, and today they assaulted us and threw us out for displaying a Palestinian flag 🇵🇸 peacefully for 30 seconds at half time … Let me reiterate there were no comms prior to the game from Man Utd to say it wasn’t allowed. (1/3)
Zeynep Sonmez says tournament organizers ban her from wearing Palestine-supporting pin
“I used to wear a pin. Tournaments no longer allow me to wear it. We had a discussion with the organizers because the Ukrainian flag is allowed but Palestine is not. They ultimately told us they definitely would not allow it ... I can use the vibration dampener and they can't object to that. That's why I put the watermelon symbol on my racket”
Most major UK banks have shut down Muslim charities, mosques, or campaigners…
Not one. Not two. Six of them.
Britain has roughly 4 million Muslims.
Around 80,000 bank with Al Rayan, the UK's oldest Islamic bank.
That leaves over 3.9 million Muslims banking with institutions whose record looks like this.
HSBC.
2014. Closed Finsbury Park Mosque, the Cordoba Foundation, the Muslim Association of Britain, Ummah Welfare Trust, and Anas Al-Tikriti's family.
2015. Closed Muslim Aid.
2016. Closed Islamic Relief — Britain's largest Muslim charity.
DBIO 2024: $14.21bn lent to companies in illegal Israeli settlements.
Barclays.
2008. Closed Ummah Welfare Trust during the Gaza war.
2014. Froze HHUGS — supporting families of Muslim prisoners.
2023. Closed Anas Al-Tikriti's accounts.
2024: £2bn in shares and £6.1bn in loans to nine arms companies arming Israel.
2025: Underwriter of Israeli sovereign bonds funding the war on Gaza.
NatWest / RBS.
2007. Closed Interpal.
2023. Closed the Cordoba Foundation's accounts. No notice.
Lloyds (TSB).
2008. Forced the Islamic Bank of Britain to close Interpal's accounts during Eid al-Adha.
2026. Debanked The Canary, a pro-Palestine media outlet, withholding its funds with no explanation given.
Co-operative Bank.
2014–2015. Closed CAGE, Friends of Al-Aqsa, and the Palestine Solidarity Campaign after 10 years of banking.
At least 27 Palestine-related organisations closed.
Santander.
DBIO 2024: $8.61bn lent to companies in illegal Israeli settlements.
This isn't only about faith. It's about who criticises Israel, and who pays for it.
Now the contradiction.
When Nigel Farage was debanked in 2023 for political views, then-PM Rishi Sunak weighed in publicly. The Chancellor demanded an FCA inquiry.
Meanwhile —
UKAWIS, a UK charity, offers donors a £75,000 package to "adopt an IDF combat unit."
UK Toremet and the Kasner Charitable Trust donated £5.7 million between 2017–2021 to a school in Susya, an illegal Israeli settlement (Guardian).
Achisomoch Aid Company — the £65m UK Jewish charity flagged by the ICJP for funding combat gear for IDF soldiers — banks with Barclays.
The same Barclays that closed Ummah Welfare Trust.
The Charity Commission's own director stated on the public record:
"It is not lawful, or acceptable, for a charity to raise funds to support a soldier of a foreign military."
Yet these charities continue. Their banks remain open.
Muslim charities lose their accounts within weeks of a single allegation. Charities funding a foreign army receive an "official warning" and carry on.
Same regulator. Opposite outcome.
Unlike Belgium, France, and Italy, the UK provides no legal right to a bank account.
So here is the question every depositor in Britain should be asking.
If your money sits with a bank that has shut down Muslim charities, frozen scholars' accounts, debanked a media outlet, and underwrites the bonds funding Gaza —
What is your money doing while you sleep?

🚨 In a now-deleted post, Daniel Cormier exposed Eric Trump for asking him if any of the UFC White House fights were rigged:
"I'm probably going to get a lot of flak for bringing this to light, however I refuse to stay silent... Shame on anyone trying to ruin this beautiful event."
Qatar at NO point banned gays from entering their country.
They just said, public display of affection between anyone including straight people was frowned upon.
The US is systematically targeting anyone that isn't white.
Not a single peep from those anti-Qatar activist 👍
🚨 Sean Strickland says he's BANNED from attending the UFC White House event because he "made fun of Israel and Epstein"
"UFC at the White House with [Netanyahu] in the audience. Straight 🇮🇱 slop.
The only male American champ banned at the White House because I said Trump is owned by [Netanyahu]. That's not public opinion it's fact."
"The lads I played with at United were great, great lads. The days I had with them were the best days of my life. For people to try and tarnish that, have little digs, you have to come out fighting. Enough is enough.”
Roy Keane, 2014
Without being overtly disrespectful, the most damning thing I can say, is that the Roy Keane of 2014 (let alone anytime before that) would’ve told the Roy Keane of 2026 to shut the fuck up.
🚨🚨| NEW: The Bank of Scotland has unveiled a limited edition £20 note featuring artwork inspired by Scott McTominay’s overhead kick vs Denmark. 💷🏴

Pep Guardiola is much more than just an unbelievable manager.
He spoke up for the people of Palestine, Sudan and Congo while others looked away.
Pep used his platform to defend our shared humanity. That will never be forgotten. Thank you, Pep.
HS2. A masterclass in how Britain destroys money.
The cost:
• 2011: £32.7bn
• 2013: £45bn
• 2015: £55.7bn
• 2019: up to £88bn
• 2020: up to £106bn
• 2026: up to £102.7bn… for a fraction of the original route
What’s been cut along the way:
• 2021: Eastern leg to Leeds: SCRAPPED
• 2022: Golborne link to Scotland: SCRAPPED
• 2023: Birmingham → Manchester leg: SCRAPPED
• 2023: Crewe hub: SCRAPPED
• Euston terminus: paused, downsized from 10 platforms to 6, now needs private finance
Original plan: 11 cities, 340 miles, £32bn, open 2026.
What we’re getting: 4 stations, 140 miles, £100bn+, open 2039.
A national embarrassment, paid for by taxpayers.
