What your urine says about your health.

Your urine is the most observable fluid that leaves your body. And it says a lot about your health. That's why in our medical laboratory, a simple urinalysis test can tell alot about your health, what your body is up to and why it is so. You need to start paying attention to your urine going forward; pay attention to the quantity, the smell, the ease at which you pass out urine, the frequency & the colour of the urine itself.

Our urine is not just a waste product,,, It is made when our kidneys filter our blood. What enters urine amongst others includes, Excess water, Electrolytes, Waste products (as in urea, creatinine, uric acid), Hormones, Proteins etc... So urine is not a random fluid,,, it is filtered blood, which means that what shows up in urine reflects what is happening in your blood, tissues, and organs. That is why doctors trust it.

Most times the body whispers through urine before it screams through disease & ignoring urine changes is like ignoring smoke because you don’t see fire yet.

The first thing that should NEVER be present in your urine is BLOOD. Blood in urine is not “normal.” It is a serious WARNING. Bloody urine is associated with seeing a red or brown colour urine. Sometimes it comes with pain, other times it comes with fever. Blood in urine (we call it hematuria) could mean any of these for sure 👇🏼
✔️Kidney stones
✔️Urinary tract infection
✔️Trauma to kidneys or bladder
✔️Cancer of bladder, kidney, or prostate
✔️Or Sickle cell crisis of hemolysis if you're an SS patient.

Also watch out for very dark yellow or orange urine. This is a strong indication that you're dehydrated and your body is begging for water. You also see this type of urine when you've been vomiting or stooling or when you have high fever. Please drink water and stay hydrated. Your body needs a lot of water. You have no idea how as simple as drinking water can help keep you fit and Healthy.

Milky or Cloudy Urine is another important sign about your urine that you should pay attention to. Especially those who are sexually active. When Infection enters your body, cloudy urine is often one of the first major signs. Cloudy or milky urine could signify that you have a urinary tract infection (UTI), a sexually transmitted infection or it could mean that there are pus cells in your urine. Cloudy urine most times comes with burning pain, fever, back pain, or vomiting. Most of the time it also comes with foul smell,,, Infection climbs fast from bladder to kidney to blood.

Also pay attention to FOAMY Urine... it's a strong indication that protein is leaking in your body. Healthy kidneys keep protein in blood.m,,, so leaking protein means the filter is broken and protein is escaping through the kidneys. This is a strong indication for kidney disease and high blood pressure. And if this foamy urine comes with swelling of face, legs, or eyes, fatigue & breathlessness, take it serious and see a doctor.

And finally, not urinating enough is a loud emergency. Very little or no urine happens when when kidneys are failing. No urine means no filtration & no filtration means poison is staying inside your body. It could be that there's kidney failure, severe dehydration or severe infection. And this is like staying for 12–24 hours without urinating.

Like I said, when urine changes, your blood is already in trouble. Our body speaks before it collapses and our urine is one of it's loudest voices. Listen early and see a doctor immediately before it's too late.

Suudi Arabistan Gıda ve İlaç İdaresi, Mesane ve Akciğer Kanseri Tedavisi İçin Kanseri Kemoterapisiz Yok Eden 'Anktiva' Adlı Çığır Açan Yeni Kanser İlacına Hızlandırılmış Onay Verdi.
Anktiva, vücudun kendi savunma sistemini harekete geçiren yeni nesil bir immünoterapi ilacıdır. Yani kanseri doğrudan zehirlemek yerine, vücudun kanserle savaşan askerlerini güçlendirerek etki gösterir.
Bu ilaç, bağışıklık sistemimizin kanserli hücreleri tanıyıp yok edebilenen önemli savaşçıları olan NK hücrelerini ve kanseri tanıyıp hatırlayan T bağışıklık hücrelerini çoğaltıp daha aktif hâle getirir. Böylece bağışıklık sistemi, kanser hücrelerini daha kolay bulur ve hedef alır.
Klasik kemoterapiler çoğu zaman sağlıklı hücrelere de zarar verir ve bağışıklığı zayıflatır. Anktiva ise tam tersine, bağışıklık sistemini güçlendirmeyi amaçlar. Bu nedenle daha hedefli etki, daha az yan etkive daha uzun süreli bir bağışıklık cevabı sunma potansiyeline sahiptir.
Bu yaklaşımın ne kadar güçlü olabileceğini gösteren çarpıcı bir örnek de klinik çalışmalarda rapor edilmiştir: Kemik iliğinin %95’i kanser hücreleriyle dolmuş, standart tedavilere hiç cevap vermeyen bir lenfoma (kan kanseri) hastasında, hastadan ya da uygun bir bağışçıdan alınan bağışıklık hücreleri laboratuvar ortamında kanseri tanıyıp saldıracak şekilde güçlendirilmiş ve tekrar hastaya verilmiştir. Sonuçta kemik iliği tamamen temizlenmiş ve hastada 15 aydır hastalığa dair hiçbir bulguya rastlanmamıştır. Bu örnek, bağışıklık sistemini doğru şekilde yönlendirmenin kanserle mücadelede ne kadar etkili olabileceğini göstermektedir.
Yapılan klinik çalışmalarda, özellikle standart tedavilere cevap vermeyen zor vakalarda, bağışıklık sisteminin yeniden toparlandığı, hastaların hayat süresinin uzadığı ve başta akciğer kanseri olmak üzere farklı kanser türlerinde umut verici sonuçlar elde edildiği bildirilmektedir.
Anktiva’nın geliştirildiği şirketin kurucusu, dünyaca tanınmış milyarder cerrah ve bilim adamı Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong’dur. Şirket, kemoterapisiz bağışıklık temelli tedaviler üzerinde uzun süredir çalışmalar yürütmektedir.
Suudi Arabistan’ın, Anktiva’yı yetişkin mesane ve akciğer kanseri hastaları için onaylaması, bağışıklık sistemi temelli kanser tedavilerinde önemli ve öncü bir adım olarak görülmektedir.
