Helping you learn your first foreign language stress-free

"A language is learnt when it is lived"

Well, it's out!
Pretty sure I'll get some fiery feedback from #langtwt but I don't give a damn son!
If it helps one monolingual realise they CAN learn a foreign language, it's worth it
Feedback more than welcome
It's FREE โฌ๏ธ

@marbondarec lmao better late than never! ahha are people still using Twitter now? I decided to learn Greek instead of Russian in the end! How are you?
You do not need to try to remember words
In fact, the harder you try the tougher it'll be to do so
Just focus on creating an environment where it is easy for your brain to remember
Relaxed
Calm
Fun
This is how you get fluent in a language
You won't get fluent if you keep bashing yourself for forgetting words
Even jokingly saying 'oh I should remember this' is problematic
Why?
Because you kick yourself out of the flow state
Fluency is FLOWency
Ignore all negative thoughts and keep it rolling
Hi, I'm Pat.
Here is a little about me:
-32 years old
-Fluent in 6 languages
-Love Truth
Earthly mission:
Help adults learn foreign languages through presence and joy.
Soul mission:
Help spiritual seekers realise Oneness through seeing the Oneness of Words.
Extremely excited to share this with you all!
I have been working on it for the past year
It is a book that will catapult you out of your mind and into your heart <3
All words point to Oneness...
Consistency is King in the language learning game ๐
You don't need to smash out 6 hour study sessions to get fluent
Just remember this:
A podcast a day and fluency will stay!
Unless you master listening
You will always struggle to get fluent in a foreign language
Some are naturally good at it, for those who aren't, it is a skill that can easily be learnt
It PAINS me to see learners waste so much time on certain language learning apps
(No need to name names)
These apps will NOT get you fluent in a language
All they give is an illusion of progress that can do more harm than good if that's all you rely on
Spend more time LISTENING to the language and SPEAKING it with a tutor
This is how you learn languages
I can't bare to think what life would be like not being able to speak multiple languages
Being able to communicate in various tongues brings such a richness to one's world
Forever grateful to have given myself such a gift
I got good at rolling my Rs in Spanish when I stopped worrying about not being able to do it
Best thing that happened to me was having the p*ss taken out of me (made fun of) by my Spanish roommates for not being able to say:
"El perro de San Roque no tiene rabo, porque Ramรณn Ramรญrez se lo ha cortado"
It got a right giggle out of them every time I attempted it, and on each attempt, I got a bit better.
Now, I have ZERO issues doing the Spanish R
The lesson? Lean in.
