I pray we remember that , blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. May we show the compassion of Christ, be guided by the mercy of the Holy Spirit, and encounter the mercy of God now and always,
AmenππΌππΌπ₯π
Showing mercy to the least of those around us. Realizing there are very real emotional and physical needs in everyone we pass. May we show mercy as Christ has shown us mercyππΌππΌπ₯π
I pray we walk today as one who is known and held by the God who satisfies. May the hunger we carry be the very thing that keeps us close to him. (1-2)
May the promise of Jesus be a steady weight in our chest when everything else feels thin. And may his righteousness be our deepest nourishment, the one thing that is always enough.
Amen ππΌππΌπ₯π(2-2)
There is a kind of hunger that food cannot touch. We may know the feeling of sitting down to a full table and still walking away with something hollow in our chest. Seeking and going after God is the only way to fill and satisfy our hunger
ππΌππΌπ₯π
I pray for us to be constantly reminded of Godβs grace and how his mercy is sufficient for us. Remember that when we are most weak is when he is most strong. So let his grace be our salvation. (1-2)
Let his mercy be our comfort. Let his strength be our guide. And let our faith in Christ be what saves us now and always,
AmenππΌππΌπ₯π (2-2)
Having all we need. Not wasting our lives by finishing tasks ourselves , but by Godβs grace having immediate access to all he has and all he is.
ππΌππΌπ₯π
βBut he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
2 Corinthians 12:9
Hallelujah ππΌππΌπ₯π
Romans 5:10
10 For if, while we were Godβs enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
Amen Hallelujah ππΌππΌπ₯π
I pray for our eyes be made new today, that we will see what God sees. May our hands and feet be willing to go where faith leads. May the courage to do good be given to us in the exact measure we need. (1-2)
May we know that God who calls us to seek justice walks ahead of us and behind us on that road for His Glory and His Kingdom
AmenππΌππΌπ₯π (2-2)
To stay safely inside the walls of a comfortable life. It means well. But it never quite gets its hands dirty. Isaiah 1:17. Not a call to try harder at religion. A call to let faith move through us and into the world around us. To learn, actively and intentionally, how to do good
βWash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause."
Isaiah 1:16-17
Amen ππΌππΌπ₯π
Psalm 103:17
17 But from everlasting to everlasting the LORDβs love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their childrenβs childrenβ
Amen ππΌππΌπ₯π
I pray for us to always remember that our heavenly Father is the Vine; we are the branches. When we remain in God, He remains in us, and we bear much fruit, for otherwise, apart from God; cut off from vital union with God, we can do nothing. (1-2)
God is the vinedresser, and He repeatedly prunes us so that we will soon bear more fruit, even more prosperous and finer fruit; for His glory.
Amen ππΌππΌπ₯π (2-2)
