Thousands of widows and children continue to seek the full and fair justice that we are owed for the murder of our loved ones.

We simply seek to be treated fairly and equitably in DOJ’s United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Fund that is supposed to treat all American victims of terrorism fairly—yet it does not because 9/11 widows and children receive 33-74% less compensation than all other victims in the Fund because as Senator Chuck Schumer’s counsel told us—there are “just too many 9/11 victims to be treated fairly in DOJ’s Fund.” (As someone who fought for the creation of the 9/11 commission I can tell you first-hand that it is NOT the fault of the widows and children that the terrorists we’re so spectacularly successful on the morning of September 11,2001 when our nation and its national defense apparatus bizarrely did absolutely nothing to mitigate the damage, destruction, and carnage. In fact, the nation’s response (or lack thereof) actually contributed to the vast devastation and subsequent loss of life. Thus, the 9/11 widows and children are the very last group who should be punished for there being “just too many” 9/11 victims.

The myriad documents and evidence we seek to get released remain secret and unavailable to us even though we’ve been promised by several Presidents that those documents and evidence would be fully released and made public.

Our civil court cases against the sovereign defendants and Islamic charities are inexplicably still in their pre-trial phases 25 years later.

GTMO hearings for the terrorists are still in their pre-trial phases, too, as a direct result of CIA’s decision to torture the high value detainees. (The only thing the torture achieved was robbing us of the justice we are owed under the law for the murder of our loved ones. Torture did not make America safer, it did not prevent any attacks.)

Our undeniable rights to the full compensation we are owed under the law for the murder of our husbands (ie. our husbands lost wages) have never been met because our rights to sue and hold liable the airlines, the city of NY, and the myriad government agencies that failed our nation that day were taken away from us ex post facto by Congress 10 days after the murder of our loved ones. Taking away a surviving spouses right to sue for the murder of her husband after he’s been killed is supposed to be unconstitutional in this country, yet it was permitted and done to us by our very own U.S. Congress while we were still in shock, reeling in agony, grieving, trying to make sense of what had just happened in front of our very own eyes and for all the world to witness.

We have been literally abandoned and starved of the justice we are entitled to under the laws of this nation for 25 years while the very people who have the power to provide us the simple and fair justice we are owed wrap themselves in the flag, invoke our names and somehow receive props.

So listening to people like you extol the dragging of a piece of 9/11 steel across the country by the brother of someone killed is incredibly frustrating and deeply symbolic of everything that is so terribly wrong with this country when it comes to 9/11.

Why don’t you demand that the widows and children—who are this nations largest group of victims of terrorism—be granted a meeting with the President in the Oval Office and that rather than “9/11” being used and abused and tossed around like a political football or a pretext for yet more never-ending, unlawful wars around the globe for another 25 years—9/11 and the murder of 3,000 innocents be only invoked and used from this day forth to deliver genuine TRUTH, TRANSPARENCY, ACCOUNTABILITY & JUSTICE to the thousands of 9/11 widows and children who simply want the proper peace and closure that we believe we deserve after waiting one quarter of a century.

Given the facts and circumstances, is that truly too much for us to ask and expect from our country and its leader(s)?

Wow, plugging back in to a lot of creator drama this morning...

I have enjoyed a good relationship with just about everyone, and plan for this to continue. Even those who disagree with me.

I don't consider another to be suspicious because they have an opinion that differs from mine. In fact, I think it's incredibly important to keep communication flowing despite the disagreements.

I have no blacklist, I truly enjoy listening to the arguments and watching all sides. However, when it goes beyond the arguments and ideas, and we degenerate into personal attacks, accusations, threats of lawfare, doxxing, attention seeking behavior, etc. we turn in the opposite direction of a good faith pursuit of the truth. It doesn't create a better world.

Here is a quote I've been reflecting on a lot recently, "For this world of ours to set its course in a Christian direction - which is the only one worthwhile - we have to exercise a loyal friendship with all men, based on a prior loyal friendship with God."

As for me, I'm going to try and stick to that standard written by St Jose Escriva.
