Our rape gang inquiry hearings start tomorrow in central London.

I hope you will join me in thanking our inquiry team, because the amount of work they have put in over the last year to get us this far has been astonishing.

SO much has been going on behind the scenes, I cannot tell you.

This has never been done before - simple as that.

Getting all of this together, to be in a position to launch our hearings tomorrow is an incredible effort.

We don't have the power of the state behind us, but as a team we could not sit back and do nothing as these rapes continue across the country.

The mass rape of white working class girls by gangs of predominately Pakistani Muslim men has been allowed to fester away for decades by our rotten establishment.

That must now end.

It's not been easy, but we are ready for what will be an immensely emotional and difficult hearings schedule.

Good progress made, but there is far more to do.
