It can be shocking just how little attention is paid to mobility in hospital. Both at the start: no comment on how the person moves now. Silence on what they were like at baseline. How can we help people “get better” (or home) if we don’t know what better looks like for them?
🧠😟 Research in #delirium is growing rapidly, but the fact is that globally most people with delirium:
🔶 Are not diagnosed
🔶 Receive no/incomplete treatment
🔶 Do not have preventive measures applied
➡️ We need to do much better
