The bigger question for me is if Grimes or Thybulle should be in the starting line up. I feel that Thybulle is the better fit but he's going to miss a chunk of time during the season. Some consistency would be nice.
The Kuminga hype bug got me for a little while but I no longer have a preference on getting him or not for the Lakers.
At PF they should probably start LaRavia. I trust him slightly more than Vando. I am liking the idea of Vando and Mamu being the front court off the bench.
1/3
Vando fits so much better with this team now that there are more shooters he will be surrounded with.
Missing out on Kuminga means more play time for Thiero and Carr. More and more I'm preferring leaning on the young guys. I think they'll develop better on the fast track.
2/3
I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see Adou Thiero getting a jump shot any time soon. His mechanics are far away from being fixed. But I think that's okay. He's such a monster athlete and his motor is so good that you can work around that weakness. JJ should give him minutes.
I wouldn't jump to conclusions. He had the G-Leagues best perimiter defender on him.
He's 19. He is a very good shooter and is skilled. Experience and the weight room will be his friends for the next few years.
I guess people will have to learn this coming season that Luka/Austin + Kessler + athletes/shooters is a problem for the league.
It's been ages since the Lakers have this many athletes and shooters.
Really excited for this revamped team.

@PullPatrick They do seem to have different trajectories. We know Todd is peak right now and Dave is hit or miss. Still going to stick with Dave but what an awesome match 👌
Austin Reaves finished the last 17 games of the season averaging 25-5-5 on 52%-42%-90%
Remarkable for an undrafted player.
I wonder if he has another leap next season. LeBron might actually end up being the 3rd guy in the offense.
Yes I was excited for Williams. He's big and talented. But there were a lot of question marks and I'm completely okay with the safe move of keeping the assets.
Welcome back Knecht!
