All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from "X-Men" to "Logan" to "Avengers: Doomsday." He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.
Life is full of arbitrages:-
1) You will make 2-3X more wealth working in tech in the US, compared to any other part of the world.
2) Quality of life (on per unit of money spent) is at least 2X better in South East Asia, compared to any other part of the world.
3) If you setup a business in UAE/Singapore, you would end up paying 2-3X less tax compared to most parts of the world.
Now of course, you can't achieve all these points.
But, work towards at least 1-2.
Being average in a good environment >> being very good in a tough environment.
@markgoldbridge I actually couldn't give two fucks about what the players think at this moment. They have been equally shite so fuck them. But yeah not sacking carrick just to save their asses summarises our sporting director
Simon Doull said, “Glenn Phillips didn’t need to be a hero there. You don’t need to do that when you can catch it on the run with both hands. The ball was flying at his hands height”.
🚨🗣️ - Kaveh Solhekol goes COMPLETELY IN on Sir Jim Ratcliffe live on air:
“I'm going to tell you who's to blame for this situation at the moment. The person to blame is Jim Ratcliffe.
“He bought the club almost three years ago. He bought 29% of it, when the Glazer family put the club up for sale. He didn't buy the whole club, he only bought 29% of it. And by buying 29%, it meant that the Glazers STAYED in place and Jim Ratcliffe got to run the football operations.
“He's come in and he said, 'I know better than anyone else how to run this club. We're going to do things my way.' And look what it's turned out to be over the past two and a half years.
“First of all, he said, 'I'm going to back Erik ten Hag. We've been chopping and changing managers too much.' Then he went off and started meeting Thomas Tuchel and any other manager who was available behind Erik ten Hag's back.
“When they couldn't find somebody else, they gave Ten Hag a new contract and money to spend. A couple of games later, Ten Hag loses his job.
“In the middle of the season, they beg Ruben Amorim to come to United. He doesn't even want to go there in the middle of the season; he wants to wait until the summer. They pay a fortune to get him, even though he plays three at the back, a totally different kind of football.
“Dan Ashworth doesn't want him. Dan Ashworth leaves, Ruben Amorim comes in, they go all in on Ruben Amorim. That doesn't work out. They get rid of him.
“They bring in Carrick as an interim. Okay, results are better. Then they give him the full-time job.
“In the meantime, Ratcliffe has come in and said, 'We're going to do things my way. No player is going to get paid 250, 300 grand a week here anymore. That's not going to happen. We're not going to sign any players for more than 60, 70 million pounds.’
“So Mateus Fernandes, Elliot Anderson, Harry Kane, Declan Rice, all these players, we ain't going to be signing them. And also, we're only going to be signing players with Premier League experience. And we're going to sign forwards one window, then the following summer we're just going to sign midfielders, then next summer we're just going to sign defenders.
“So this is Jim Ratcliffe's way of doing things. So he is to blame for this situation.”
TAKE A BOW, SON. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Mason Mount spends the whole season injured, comes back from injury starts every single game, does nothing and gets injured again. Just one of problems at United
Bruno Fernandes is not, and was never, the problem. He was one of the few things stopping this from happening to Manchester United, but he couldn't do it forever. This is a reminder of how bad the club would be & will be without him. Too many have taken him for granted.
@HarshKapoor_ Easiest thing for the board to have some time off them is to appoint nagelsmann. I mean hes free as well so not taking 2-3 weeks to get it done. BUT will nagelsmann accept to be a fkn muppet to the board?
@sonofgrace_0@Hxk_777x@FrankEra_ then why the fuck did he put him on the bench? i know why cos he is absolutely clueless.Who the fuck puts your best player on the bench just to not even use him at all. Absolute shitshow mate i feel for carrick but going after bruno before atleast 7-8 others is nothing but agenda
@sonofgrace_0@Hxk_777x@FrankEra_ shut the fuck up…the player who has been the most patient and consistently supported this club at the worst of the times and sacrificed his peak for this and what does he get? There are players in this 11 who absolutely should be thrown out of the squad because of their form
