@slavojtrex not that i believe this tool one bit, but in general i will defend not owning two cars. it’s worse for the environment to buy a second car to drive for day to day stuff than just driving the truck around, even when accounting for the difference in gas efficiency
@RyanFreema79300@crow___boy@SuperMessi10i@brianbjay actually yes potatoes are native to the southern US as well as south and central america. potatoes come from the new world, as do all the best foods (peppers, avocado, chocolate, tomatoes)
@tonyswish@SteveHoobin@okimstillhungry there’s a tiktok drama about this right now. a girl is claiming she failed a class because she was using grammarly and it got flagged as AI. don’t know if she’s being honest about the grammarly part but they’re definitely checking for AI.
@Pluffbadie@BilltheCatGuy1 no one is in prison for being homeless. that would be more humane than what the government actually does (just forces people to leave encampments/doesn’t let them sleep on the street etc)
@on_da_spectrum if that’s true it’s only because our brains have already been raised on a diet of those ideas. the modern human brain has the building blocks of millennia of philosophy structured into our language and education from infancy
@ninahartman14 @MediumSizeMeech his dad died from prostate cancer not hodgkin’s. and hodgkin’s has a good survival rate compared to most cancers. that story seems fishy
@Odogg_99@TheMikeMorton@laurenboebert the real irony is y’all thinking that the powerful elites are on the side of the climate activists. like literally why would they be
@AfroVT as lots of people pointed out he signed many executive orders on climate change and COVID. but he also signed a lot with a social justice/racial equity focus. even a couple to try to improve reproductive healthcare access. he also attempted unilateral student debt relief
@oldenoughtosay not a single person who has been in the south for > 15 mins thinks “y’all” is AAVE. or like, even watched a movie with southerners in it
@_celia_bedelia_ one thing i don’t understand is why they’re so obsessed with menstruation. using menstruation to define womanhood is bonkers to me. is menstruation such a profound experience to these people that they could not possibly identify with someone who hasn’t experienced it?
@msolurin the true crime genre is very flawed but to be clear, the lovely bones is a fictional work (that includes a rape and grisly murder, but also a bunch of supernatural stuff - def not based one a true story). the author was raped in college and identified this man as her attacker
