No amanezco, resucito.

If we never talk again, or if this silence between us really is the end of everything, I hope you never forget that I cared about you deeply.

No matter how things turned out, you were someone who truly mattered to me, and a part of me will always care about you.

Watching him become cold toward me is a kind of heartbreak I don’t know how to explain. It’s not just that his behaviour changed. It’s that I still remember how different he used to be with me. The sweetest man. The way he used to talk to me, the way he cared, the way he made me feel wanted and safe. I remember how easily I fell in love with that version of him. And now I’m standing here, watching the same person slowly become someone I barely recognise. That’s what hurts the most. Because I’m not mourning someone who was always cruel to me. I’m mourning someone who once made me so happy. Someone who gave me memories I’ll probably carry for a very long time, while now giving me reasons to let him go. I catch myself missing the old him, even though I know I can’t keep loving someone based on who they used to be. I think that’s the hardest part of letting go. You’re not only saying goodbye to a person. You’re saying goodbye to the version of them you fell in love with, the version you kept hoping would come back.
