I was very saddened to hear about the death of Robin Smith; he was a truly brave batsman. Before my Test debut, in the second Test of the 1992 series at Lord's, I caught him off a delivery from Wasim Akram at third slip. This was Wasim Akram's 150th wicket in Test cricket. In the my debut match, Robin Smith had a great innings, scoring an unbeaten 88 runs in the second innings.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RASHID (LATIF)

In the garden of years, where time blooms and fades,
You stand, a tree with roots deep in truth's shade.
Through battles of green, beneath the sun’s fierce glare,
You’ve carved your name, with purpose, fair and rare.
From the first steps of youth, when the field was your stage,
To the days of wisdom, where you speak from the page,
Your soul burns steady, like a flame in the night
A rebel with reason, a heart full of light.
We walked as brothers, through victories and strife,
Through the seasons of sport, through the lessons of life.
You, the captain, not of the game but of grace,
Guiding all with integrity, a soft but firm pace.
What is a man, if not his honor upheld?
In the fierce winds of change, you stood, compelled.
A name now celebrated, a legend adorned,
But behind it all, a loyalty born.
In thick and in thin, when the world turned its back,
You were there, like a steady hand on the track.
A friend, a mentor, a spirit refined
A soul unbroken, a will redefined.
The years we’ve spent are like rivers that meet,
In a dance of old friends, both bitter and sweet.
To know you, Rashid, is to touch the divine
A privilege rare, a bond that will shine.
On this day, we celebrate the light in your eyes,
The fire that rises, the wisdom that flies.
May your journey continue, with grace, poise and with might,
For you are a star that forever will ignite.
Happy Birthday, my friend, my captain, my guide,
May your spirit soar, like the winds in its stride.
In the heart of the world, your name will remain,
A source of honor, a fire that sustains.

-الگ سہولیات own facilities
-انفراسٹرکچر infrastructure

🗣️ Vernon Philander: "We talk about experience, but experience means nothing if you can’t put in performances on the field. Noman has been a fantastic role model for Pakistan cricket.

I think the way he's also come in form over the last 18 months, the control that he brings, I think that is important when you're playing sub-continent."
