@LeonardMJoyner@SGTWipper1Each I agree, by the time you are a SSG you have studied and worked hard to build not only skill sets and leadership abilities. You are in an excellent position to accomplish the mission and take care of your troops. You can never train enough.

I served in the mid 70’s to 85. Pay sucked under President Carter and improved under Reagan. Still sucked. I have a grandson in the Air Force now and while he’s grateful for the 14% bump it’s still below what his mos is worth on the outside. I get I’m an old 11b, but we need to pay people a wage commensurate with their skill set
