The 82 member schools that entered the challenge were randomly placed in the bracket to battle for the title of Best Nickname in the #NJCAA.

JC: 6’1 sophomore guard Christian Payawal of Lamar CC, a Revocruit Powered JUCO, delivered 20 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds, shooting 3-for-6 from deep and 7-for-11 from the field in an 88–85 battle against #2 South Plains.

@C12Payawal is currently 2nd in the nation in total assists — 47 dimes to just 7 turnovers — and he’s doing it against some of the top programs in JUCO basketball.
