I FINALLY got to drink my 1997 Lamborn Zin, which was also the first vintage made by Heidi Barrett! I have had over 700 Zins and this bested all of them as it was so velvety smooth and still full of life. Feel badly for my host as his wines paled in comparison. Cheers🍷

@TXHogPilot 2012 was a great vintage and is drinking quite well right now. That said, it has over a decade of a solid drinking window in it still. If you like your aged Cabs with more fruit to them, sooner is better. Cheers to you and thank you for the support!

I only have a couple 3L Zins and I am dying to try this 1997 @Lamborn since it was the first year Heidi Barrett made it for them. You need a lot of Zin lovers to open these. #cheers🍷
