Judi Jodi from Ramayana reminds me a little too much of Unnai Kaanadhu Naan and Labb Par Aaye. Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy then, AR Rahman now. Looks like Ramayana has no original songs so far. Disappointing music. #Ramayana
Following up with a few observations based on my previous post:
1. Criticism is good. We have seen ARR do period films before. His recently criticised films for non-accurate sounds and instrumentals for that era were the Ponniyin Selvan series and Chhaava. Another song, Mangal Rang is being compared to Enna Solla Pogirai from Kandukondein Kandukondein. An epic retelling of such a scale like Ramayana deserves original, memorable music. If that’s not the case, then the work will be criticised. Same fate as adi purush. Bad film but absolutely beautiful music.
2. While I may have opinions about the movie, one should understand that it comes from a concern of such a big film not having a fresh feeling to the soundtracks. This is not fair to people who’re genuinely looking forward to it.
3. ARR’s work is legendary. Not comparing him to other greats but his tunes are an inseparable part of our childhoods and his early works were and still are amazing. If I’d noticed this detail, it means I’ve listened to his brand of music a million times. His legacy needs respect, yes.
But his new work can also be questioned if it’s subpar. At his level, he can afford to experiment and challenge himself to give period/theme appropriate songs but all he does is play safe and give us familiar sounds.
On a side note, idk whose choice it was to break lyrics in Mangal rang but it definitely kills the feeling that good lyrics should evoke.

#Hyderabad: Customers fell ill after consuming Shawarma at Grill House located in Alwal. Multiple incidents in Hyderabad have highlighted the health risks of consuming unhygienic shawarma.
This is not a stand alone incident, recently Grill 9 was booked as two cops who eat sharwarma at the restaurant fell ill.
Case studies -
Salmonella infection in Lothukunta
On January 12, 17 individuals who dined at a shawarma spot in Lothukunta were hospitalised after experiencing symptoms like vomiting, fever and diarrhoea. The GHMC food safety wing visited the eatery two days later and found it closed. One patient was diagnosed with salmonella infection. Tests for others were initiated, but a lack of samples hindered the investigation. Following the incident, the GHMC suspended the restaurant’s license.
Police inspector fell ill from food in Karkhana
Similarly, in another case, Karkhana police booked a case against Grill 9 restaurant after a Central Crime Station (CCS) inspector fell ill after eating shawarma on September 30. The inspector’s illness led to legal action under Section 274 of the BNS Act, but no other complaints were received.
Health risks of improperly handled shawarma-
Nutritionists and doctors have raised alarms over shawarma’s potential health hazards.
Dr Manisha Rao, a dietitian, said, “Shawarma, when not prepared under proper hygienic conditions, can become a breeding ground for bacteria like Clostridium, which can produce harmful toxins if the meat is improperly cooked or stored.”
Food safety inspectors also emphasised the risks of reheating shawarma. “Partially cooked meat that is reheated improperly can generate harmful bacteria. High temperatures during cooking are essential to eliminate this risk,” stated a GHMC food safety officer.
@GoogleMyBiz I submitted the request for reinstation multiple times. And everytime I receive a template bot reply. Kindly look into the matter as to why it's not getting reinstated.
@GoogleMyBiz I had my restaurant listed in Google. Since last 2 years our listing had garnered more than 400 ratings and reviews. Suddenly last week google disabled my business profile. Since then I have tried reinstating it but it's not getting reinstated.
@TsspdclCorporat It has been 13 hours. The adjoining areas and colonies have electricity supply except for us. The FOC number too is not working. Have been trying constantly to reach out.
@TsspdclCorporat Thank you for your prompt response. The issue has been resolved for now. But I'd request you to kindly look for a permanent solution as the transformer is fragile and the power supply gets disrupted frequently.
