For 20 years, Ondoma Isaac has farmed in Madi-Okolo District. With support from Equity Bank Uganda, he has expanded his farm and planted an acre of sim sim (sesame).

After learning about Equity’s agricultural financing solutions, Isaac and his farmer group received financial literacy training, equipping them with the knowledge to grow their agribusiness with confidence. As their crops continue to thrive, the group is optimistic about the harvest ahead.

From just 2kg of sim sim (sesame) seed, Isaac is projecting 6–7 bags, with an offtake arrangement providing a ready market for their produce.
