The citizens of this country are very interesting; when the NRA/M was demonizing northerners falsely, the whole country pretended it was the way to go and that, we deserved it because “every problem the country had faced was from northern Uganda”. We were the lone voice telling Ugandans that we have a problem and that we need unity not dividing a nation. And now that NRM/M7 is now looking to North and making amends, the “other Ugandans” are now saying we are being manipulated. No. That’s not true, we know what we want as a people and we have been consistent on demanding what we deserve as equal citizens of the country. The opportunity for this country now lies with us Northern Uganda to forge the Unity this country needs.
