@bdysnatchrz4evr@Braden95i3@gayest_tone If you travel from the us to the uk with no research, then yeah sure! But most ppl don’t do that. The bare minimum research is knowing what currency we use, and I’m more talking about ppl who refuse to accept that the uk has a separate system even after I tell them
@Braden95i3@gayest_tone I mean we’re not in mainland Europe, and unless it’s your first time buying something here you’d surely realise that it’s not the same currency, I’m more talking about ppl who once I explain to them that it’s not the same get v angry at me. This has only happened w Americans btw
@Braden95i3@gayest_tone But that’s not our currency? The uk isn’t the only country in Europe that doesn’t use euros. Sweden doesn’t, Denmark doesn’t, neither does Poland, Czechia, Romania etc. We aren’t in the European Union so we have no economic ties to Europe so why would we use the same currency?
@emophringe Why’s a gif someone made of my meet and greet in 2024 being used 2 years later what loooool I don’t even watch that much Dan and Phil anymore
@kai_von_hessen@MrsColdArrow@CelloisMellow@clusterbitch_ Anyways what I’m trying to say is yes, what they say matters more than what I say. I know that. But in my perfect world, every country would have an equal amount of landmass and only have that landmass. So I can complain because obviously that isn’t happening
@kai_von_hessen@MrsColdArrow@CelloisMellow@clusterbitch_ I mean I’m allowed to complain. This is twitter. I know las malvinas aren’t gonna turn argentine and Alaska isn’t gonna be Russian/canadian. But it seems unnecessary from a purely geographical standpoint to have these territories nowhere near the mainland
@sillygoose845 Were u there? If there’s audio that proves he says something then maybe I’d change my mind. Still, he represents the whole of England, he should know better than to react with anger despite what anyone says.
@W_M_Pitt@CelloisMellow@clusterbitch_ … because Argentina is the nearest country to them? Any other country which has an island off the coast of it would have thousands of people from that country living it it because of its closeness. It’s like English people living in Ireland
